Eva Longoria was promoting her new movie Wednesday when she slyly worked in a dig at President Donald Trump. (Watch the video below.)
It was seamless. Longoria, 50, stars in the new kids movie “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip.” So “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon asked her about road trips she took as a child.
“I’m from Texas, so like everything’s a road trip because everything’s so far,” the “Desperate Housewives” alum said.
She described a trip from her hometown of Corpus Christi to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, which required that the family drive around the “Gulf of Mexico,” she said, with emphasis.
The audience cheered, Longoria laughed and Fallon shot her a “maybe you shouldn’t have gone there” look that was either serious or, well, you be the judge at the 7:05 mark:

Props to Longoria, who has Mexican roots, for putting subtle protest on the map.
