“Late Night” host Seth Meyers on Wednesday tore into Donald Trump over a bizarre new executive order that instructs Vice President JD Vance to remove “improper” ideology from the Smithsonian Institution — including its zoo.
Republicans are now “going after wokeness in zoos,” Meyers quipped.
“Man, oh man, when they find out male seahorses give birth, they’re going to burn the aquariums to the fucking ground,” he joked. “But I do hope they mean that JD Vance will literally be patrolling the zoo, looking for woke animals, telling the male peacocks, ‘Gentlemen, aren’t we worried our tail feathers are a little feminine?’”
Meyers added: “Seriously, what the hell is ‘improper’ ideology at a zoo? Trump is starting to get into weird dictator shit.”
