NewsNation's Chris Cuomo to host town hall featuring Trump, marking 100 days

NewsNation host Chris Cuomo will host a town hall next week marking President Trump’s 100th day in office that will feature a number of Republicans and Democrats, including the president himself.

The primetime event, “CUOMO Town Hall: The First 100 Days,” will air Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT on the cable channel and will be moderated by Cuomo, as well as commentators Bill O’Reilly and Stephen A. Smith.

O’Reilly makes frequent appearances on NewsNation’s air while Smith has sparked speculation he could run as a Democrat in the next presidential election.

Wednesday’s town hall will include a live phone interview with Trump, the network said as it announced the event.

The two-hour town hall in New York City will also feature other members of the Trump administration, including Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as well as leaders of the Democratic Party and a variety of other guests, such as former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R).

Wednesday’s town hall will be conducted in front of a live studio audience comprised of Democrats, Republicans, and independent voters, the network said.

Trump enters his 100th day in office next week with headlines focusing on his trade, immigration and foreign policy agendas.

Cuomo hosts a weeknight show during NewsNation’s 8 p.m. hour and last year moderated a town hall event with Vice President Vance, an event Trump called into before the November election.
