Officers Deploy Tear Gas and Storm Protestors at Federal Detention Facility in Downtown Los Angeles (VIDEO) **DHS Responds** | The Gateway Pundit

More than 1,000 protestors surrounded a federal detention center in Los Angeles on Friday evening following multiple ICE raids.

Earlier Friday, ICE agents descended on multiple businesses in downtown Los Angeles, including a Home Depot, and carried out immigration raids on Friday.

Several people were taken into custody.

Far-left protestors clashed with federal agents as they conducted their raids. The protestors threw projectiles at agents and blocked vans from leaving.

Some protestors threw eggs at the federal agents. The FBI arrived on the scene.

After the ICE raids, more than 1,000 protestors marched over to a federal detention center on Alameda street.

Far-left protestors vandalized the federal building and clashed with officers.

Officers used tear gas to push back on the violent protestors.

A line of officers in riot gear deployed tear gas, flash bangs and manhandled protestors.

One protestor went flying after a police officer manhandled him and cuffed him.

LAPD in riot gear formed a line and dispersed the protestors.

Protestors took hammers to cement blocks to allegedly use pieces of concrete against officers.

DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said more than 800 protestors surrounded and breached the first layer of a federal law enforcement building in Los Angeles.

The protestors assaulted ICE officers, slashed tires, and defaced buildings.
